Baby Shops for The Best Stuff for Baby
I started the series on shopping for baby products with yesterday's post on TK Maxx and some of the gems I have found there.
Below, is a list of all (or at least most) shops that I have bought baby products from, over the last year. It seems like quite a long list, but when you think about the length of the typical baby list from birth to 12 months old, I am sure (and really I hope) this is shorter. Some of these shops, I have only ever picked up one item from, but I have been able to cross off a number of items on the list by visiting Amazon, for example.
In no particular order:
- Mamas & Papas: At the shop in Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush, they have a changing roman and a separate nursing room
- Baby Gap: I am very vocal about my love for BabyGap clothes - good quality and great discounts.
- H&M baby: I buy the comfiest baby leggings/trousers from here
- Zara Baby: They have some darling pieces
- Natural Baby Shower : If you're looking for organic or natural products. They also have a good selection of products - cds, books, oils, beauty products for you during pregnancy.
- Zulily : I have not bought much from here, but I did get this beautiful mint green baby kimono trouser set that made me go ooooh everytime I put Coco in it. It's a subscription service and they offer some great discounts on branded items.

Best for discounts on big items
Pram world - Always compare the prices of your larger buys here, especially if you're going for the branded items, as they have the best prices on some of these. By larger items I mean cot, cot-bed, prams, car-seat, high chair and accessories for those.
Best for outstanding customer service
Amazon - We have had a couple of issues with the baby monitor, they have always been OK for us to send it back and send a replacement within 24 hours.
Pramworld - I love that I can call them once I've made an order or even before, with my questions. I get through within minutes and get answers just as quickly. They're always so helpful and friendly. If the customer representative is not sure of the answer, she will check and let you know.
Best for interesting baby products (and product ideas) at a good price
TK Maxx - I got child-proof box set, Organic natural toy cleaner spray (which I use for her high chair mostly), an infant insert for baby bouncer, weaning bowls and cup set and more. I go with an open mind, scan through and there are always a few clever items that catch my eye that I know are going to be useful. The price is always right!
Overall Best Product - Top five
Zara Home Kids ~ the weaning bib. It's easy to clean (wipe or wash with water) and put on and the length is perfect too.
