Golden Tip: Healthy Snack for Infants & Toddlers

Golden Tip: Healthy Snack for Infants & Toddlers

I found a great snack alternative for when you're out and about or cannot/not keen to skin and slice fruits and vegetables.

It's called Ella's Kitchen Puffits. I bought a pack of 5 for £2.19 from the Co-operative store and it has gone down a treat.

It's made from natural ingredients only - maize flour, wheat bran, rice flour, vanilla and quinoa flour. That's it! No funny names you can't pronounce or other random ingredients. There's no refined sugar or salt, no additives, no juices no genetically modified products. It's suitable for vegetarians too.

It's for 7 months plus and were a little under that, but I have had no problems at all. The puffs are little, so my first thought was 'aren't these too small', but they literarily melt in Coco's mouth in seconds and then she sucks, chews (or at least makes some chewing actions) and then it's all gone and she's opening up her mouth for the next. She really loves them and I get a more enthusiastic response to these than actual food - typical! I give her just one at a time and pop it straight into her mouth.

I tasted one myself and I can see why she likes it - it's mild, light and has a nice taste - not too sweet but not boring either.

So if you're in search of a snack that doesn't contain 'bad stuff' - try this!

Happy Sunday
